﷽
Many questions have been put forth to me these days, specifically about the permissibility of making supplication for the destruction of the disbelievers, and whether it is permissible or not.
The answer;
The disbelievers are of two types:
- Those who do not show enmity towards Islam, and the Muslims, and they do not wish evil for them (the Muslims). We make supplication for them to be guided, and we supplicate for their health and wellbeing. Making supplication against them is not permissible.
- The second type of disbelievers are those who wage war against Islam and the Muslims, and they wish evil for them (the Muslims). We make supplication against them, and ask Allah to destroy them. We ask Allah to inflict them with what is harmful for them in their worldly life, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Allah knows best.
